These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Fyndo (the "Platform"). By creating an account, posting a listing, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
You must verify your phone number or email address before your account is usable. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
You're solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of any listing you post. Fyndo doesn't verify listings before they go live and isn't a party to any transaction between a buyer and a seller.
You can delete any of your own listings at any time. Once deleted, a listing is removed from Fyndo immediately — it no longer appears in search, browsing, or your own "My listings" page, and there's no self-service way to restore it.
A deleted listing isn't erased from our systems right away. We keep a copy in a private archive, accessible only to Fyndo administrators and not visible to any user (including you), for at least 365 days from the date of deletion. This archive exists so that, in the event of a dispute, a fraud investigation, or a legal request, the record of what was posted isn't simply gone. After that period, the listing becomes eligible for permanent deletion from our systems; a Fyndo administrator may also choose to permanently delete it sooner, at their own discretion.
Independently of anything you do, a Fyndo administrator may remove any listing — including an active one you haven't deleted yourself — at their sole discretion, without prior notice, if they believe it violates these Terms, our other policies, or applicable law, or is otherwise inappropriate for the Platform. A listing removed this way is treated exactly like one you deleted yourself: it disappears from the Platform immediately and is kept in the same private, admin-only archive described in Section 3, under the same retention period, and Fyndo may permanently delete it at any time at its discretion.
Removal of a listing under this section doesn't by itself suspend or terminate your account, and isn't an admission by Fyndo of any particular reason for the removal.
Some features (an unlimited number of active listings via the Pro plan, or promoting a specific listing) require payment, processed by Stripe. Invoices for these payments are available from your account.
Any transaction arising from a listing — negotiating a price, arranging payment, delivery or pickup, the condition or authenticity of the item, and everything else involved in actually buying or selling something — is strictly between the buyer and the seller. Fyndo is not a party to that transaction, however it came about, even where a listing's own settings (such as promotion or delivery preferences) affected how you found it.
Fyndo is not responsible or liable for any dispute, problem, loss, or damage arising from or connected to a transaction between users — including but not limited to a buyer or seller failing to honor an agreement, a misrepresented or defective item, a failed or fraudulent payment, or any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost business, however it arises. This applies regardless of whether Fyndo's own features (search, messaging, ratings, or anything else on the Platform) played any part in the parties finding or communicating with each other.
You can delete any conversation from your own message list at any time. This only removes it from your own view — the other person you were messaging with can still see it and continue using it normally, and Fyndo administrators retain full access to it as described below.
A conversation is only ever permanently deleted from our systems once *both* participants have deleted it from their own message list, and then only after 365 days from whichever of you did so later. Until that point, the full conversation — every message, its exact time sent, and the IP address it was sent from — is kept in our systems and remains accessible to Fyndo administrators, including for exporting the complete, unedited conversation as part of a fraud investigation.
The Platform is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. Fyndo isn't liable for the conduct of any user, the condition or legality of any item listed, or any transaction between users.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
